Billy Joel Knowed the air on a long-term rumor-he has never had a thousand.
In his new HBO documentary “Billy Joel: And that’s how it goes”, the music legend goes directly to speculation, he collected several DUIs in the early 2000s during a series of car accidents.

Although Joel crashed cars in 2002, 2003 and 2004, he insists that alcohol was not a factor. In an interview from 2013, he attributed the accidents to depression and “mental fog” after 11 September and a collapse.
