Anne Burrell ‘thought she was too ugly for TV’

Despite her worries, the last weeks of Burrell were filled with goal – performing improvisation comedy in Brooklyn’s second city only a few hours before her death.

Her husband, Stuart Kaxton, discovered that her body fell to the shower floor, with emergency services who express her death on the spot.

In tribute, Food network Will broadcast a special programming block from 25 June to honor her inheritance, including an encore of her last season, Worst chefs in America: talented and terribleset as premiere July 28

Colleagues such as Duff Goldman and Rachael Ray have posted genuine memories and describe her as strict yet compassionate, a mentor and friend.

Together with her husband, Burrell is survived by her stepson, Stuart’s children, her mother Marlene, sister Jane and good friends in the culinary and entertainment worlds.

Insiders say that her death “urgent reflection on mental health and the pressure of fame” will reerlein in the TV industry.
