Garcelle Beauvais says ‘lesbian’ comment meant to ‘inspire’ Kyle Richards
TMZ.com
Garcelle Beauvais doubles down on the “lesbian” comment made in response Kyle Richards on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” … and told us the comment was not malicious in any way.
We spoke to the ‘RHOBH’ star after she seemingly encouraged her co-star to come out as a lesbian during last week’s episode… and then drew a strong response from Kyle in the press.
Garcelle doesn’t feel bad about her comment, though… as she tells us she was just trying to inspire Kyle to live her life however she wanted amid her divorce from husband. Mauricio Umanski.
As you know, Kyle has received a number of questions about her close friendship with the country singer Morgan Wade …but has always maintained that they are just friends.
Still, Garcelle defends that her statement wasn’t meant as a dig at the rumors, but rather a reminder that they are “powerful women” and “can be whatever we want to be.”
But as we previously reported, Kyle didn’t necessarily see the comment the same way… Shaking off Garcelle as a “hole”. during the ‘RHOBH’ aftershow online.
Bravo
According to Garcelle, she’s perplexed by KR’s strong reaction to the now-viral moment… considering they had a good laugh about it during recording.
She notes… “So it was kind of dark that she said that, but you know.”
Looks like this issue needs to be addressed at the ‘RHOBH’ reunion!!!
