Wes Bergmann, Derrick Levasseur Join us, traitors revealed
SPOILER ALERT: This post contains spoilers from the first three episodes of Season 3 of “The Traitors,” currently streaming on Peacock.
Changes were made from the first ten minutes of season 3 of ‘The Traitors’. First off, Rob “Boston Rob” Mariano was not in the first cast to arrive at the castle. Instead, when they showed up, he was brought out in a cloak and mask and the group was given a choice. If a cast member stepped forward to shake his hand, he would join the group – that cast member could also choose to immediately execute another.
Despite there being a number of reality TV stars who didn’t like each other – we’re looking at you, Britney Haynes and Danielle Reyes – no one wanted to get rid of anyone else That bad or put a target on their back. So they let Rob go.
Little did they know, he wasn’t really gone. (Of course not – he’s Boston Rob!) At the end of the first episode, Alan Cumming met him in the woods to inform him that he would be entering the game as a traitor, joining the other three who had been chosen as the Traitors of the season: Danielle Reyes, Bob the Drag Queen and Carolyn Wiger.
Alan also told him that he was not alone in the game. Two-time ‘Challenge’ champion Wes Bergmann and ‘Big Brother’ winner Derrick Levasseur were also added to the cast, both as Faithfuls.
New episodes of “The Traitors” debut every Thursday at 9pm ET.
