Jameela Jamil rips Ozempic use in Hollywood and says it sets a bad example for children
Jameela Jamil is speaking out against celebrities using Ozempic to lose weight… and she says it’s setting a bad example for the next generation.
The actress/model just opened up about Hollywood’s use of diabetes medications, which many people use to shed pounds quickly.
Jameela says of Ozempic… “The number of people in my industry who make the transition from slim to super skinny, only to ultimately achieve the obedient, aloof body to match the obedient sample size… is hard to watch. Especially for those of us who have battled eating disorders. Who are they actually doing it for?”
JJ continues… “I plan to ride out this cycle. Curves come back. They always do. Then they go away. Then come back. I’m not playing with my brain, my heart, my bone density, or my metabolism for a trend. You can’t lag behind in a LOOP.”
Jameela says she has battled anorexia in the past, and she also shared a photo of herself looking super skinny, recalling the time she “pretended to be happy” and “pretended like she wasn’t about to pass out” traps’.
