Lisa Kudrow surprises fans who visit ‘Friends’ Couch

Lisa Kudrow made a stop at the ‘Friends’ bench on the Warner Bros. backlot in Burbank to surprise fans and playfully fend off her new co-star Ray Romano from the iconic furniture repair at the fountain.

In an Instagram post from Kudrow and her “No Good Deed” creator Liz Feldman, Romano is seen approaching the “Friends” couch and saying, “Everyone forgets that ‘Everybody Loves Raymond’ is also on Warner Bros. has been filmed. So I want to make sure they remember.”

“It’s not just about ‘Friends’. We were two stages further. You have to visit our stage,” Romano says to the group of tourists before taking a photo with them.

“Sit on the couch of your own show!” Kudrow yells at Romano, joins the meeting, and gets a more impressed response from the group. “Now he just always comes to this bank because he wants more attention.”

The cameos were part of a promotion for Kudrow and Romano’s new show “No Good Deed,” a dark comedy from “Dead to Me” creator Feldman. The actors star as a couple who put their Los Angeles mansion on the real estate market and try to mask the home’s dark secrets from a litany of potential buyers. All eight episodes premiered on Netflix on December 12.

In Variety In the review of “No Good Deed,” TV chief critic Alison Herman wrote that the series has “such a solid setup and such a stacked cast that an overreliance on twists can be counterproductive.”

“I just want to say that I always had a Season 2 in mind, and I think a show like this has legs if it’s done in a smart way,” Feldman shared. Variety in an interview about the season finale. “I’m very excited to talk to Netflix about what those plans are. They kind of know, but I do think this show still has some life left in it, and I really hope we get through it.
