Taylor Frankie Paul stirred the pot when she called her Secret Lives of Mormon Women cast members for their perceived lack of support at her CMA appearance — and now they’re clapping back.

Days after appearing at the awards show, which took place in Nashville on November 20, Taylor, 30, took to her Instagram Story on Saturday, November 23, to throw shade at her cast members.

“None of my girls from Momtok said anything on my CMA post, such a big night for me,” she wrote alongside a selfie of her in a car. “Uncomfortable.”

Secret Lives of Mormon Women costar Jessi Ngatikaura was surprised by the post and took to her Instagram Story to share a screenshot of her response to Taylor.

“Tay, I literally posted you on my story. Are you real?” Jessi, 32, wrote via Instagram DM before adding: “Also reposted your CMA TikTok and texted you all day you were there to support you. This is such a weird thing to post instead of coming to us first. Jessi captioned the exchange: “Weird flex but okay.”

Jessi explained how she supported her friend in the comments section of Taylor’s Instagram post from the awards show.

“Repost the cma’s TikTok of you ✔️. Post on my story ✔️. Text you all day long to congratulate and cheer you up ✔️. Like this post ✔️. Free clip-ins for filming and events like this ✔️. Free hair for your mom ✔️,” Jessi commented. “S— I forgot to comment even though I’m on vacation with my family and trying not to scroll too much 🤭 I’m the worst friend!! Forgive me, Queen Taylor, I will bow now.

After a user responded to Jessi’s comment and suggested the drama was “fake” to attract viewers to the Secret Lives of Mormon Womenshe fired back at the idea.

“One thing about me: I don’t play anything online or into a storyline,” she wrote via her Instagram Story, alongside a screenshot of the comment. “What you see is what you get. If you only knew what really goes on behind the scenes. We don’t have to make things up; our group just makes things happen. An example: today.”

Demi Engemann also appeared to hit back with a series of cryptic quotes via her Instagram Story. “Projection is so funny when you’re self-aware, because people really can’t see outside their *own* perspective and experiences. Just like honey, nothing you said has anything to do with me. It sounds like this is actually about you,” read the quote, which Demi, 30, captioned: “IYKYK.” Demi posted another quote, which read: “Being called sensitive because you respond to disrespect is manipulation at its best.”

While we make fun of the situation, Mikayla Matthews admitted in a TikTok with costar Mayci Neeley that she didn’t comment on Taylor’s Instagram.

“Since we were all publicly called out, there is one more secret I must share with you. I missed Taylor’s post yesterday,” Mikayla, 24, wrote as she lip-synced to a viral Family guy sound. “What?” Mayci, 29, replied, to which Mikayla continued: “I didn’t comment either.” Mikayla captioned the post: “I hope this clears things up.”

After her initial post, Taylor took to her Instagram Story to explain her stance. “Just like WHOLE made me feel bad,” she wrote on the first video, adding in another slide: “I don’t think I’m queen, I just felt petty so I came back petty as usual .”

“I think I ruffled some feathers, a little too much. But for starters, we’re not allowed to talk about any storylines, so this isn’t made up in any way. I think I made that little concoction myself. It made me uncomfortable that all my friends were silent. That’s all I meant by it,” Taylor claimed in the video. “I have a lot of supportive girls in this group, and I’ve never said anyone specifically isn’t supportive, because they are. None. I just didn’t feel comfortable with it, so I made a little post, and are we shocked?

“Because Demi is the most triggered by it, it’s interesting because she called me the other day and said, ‘I feel like you’re not really supporting me on social media.’ So it’s weird that it matters when it comes to her, but when it comes to me it shouldn’t be a big deal, and they don’t have to bow down to me,” Taylor continued.

“Of course you don’t have to like my stuff. That’s fine. Again, these days it’s your message without saying a message, and I think we can all agree. Despite all the girls telling me that I should have handled this differently and offline, because they are now literally eating me alive online, they may feel justified but won’t come to me if you’re going to do the exact same thing.

Taylor shot to fame after claiming in 2022 that she and her husband had been “gently swinging” with fellow Mormon couples. Two years later, Taylor and her “MomTok” friends starred in the Hulu series, which focused on the aftermath of the claims. The cast included Taylor, Demi, Mikayla, Mayci, Jessi, Jen Affleck, Whitney Leavitt And Layla Taylor.

In October, news broke that the hit show had been renewed for season 2.
