Ryan Murphy hints at more ‘Monsters’ episodes if the Menendez brothers get out

The Menendez brothers are serving life sentences for the murder of their parents. Jose And Potin August 1989. New evidence could ‘prove’ that the former abused his children, which is also suggested in the series.

The nine-episode show is credited by many with helping to draw attention to the couple’s conviction.

Murphys said: “Ian and I are absolutely amazed and shocked that this has happened, to be honest. When we got the Menendez story – we worked on this for two years – no one was talking about the Menendez brothers. We never thought anyone would ever do that again.”

LA District Attorney George Gascon recently shared a screenshot of a letter Erik wrote to his cousin Andy Cano, eight months before he helped kill his parents.

Erik wrote: “I tried to avoid dad. It still happens Andy, but it’s worse for me now. I never know when it’s going to happen and it’s driving me crazy. Every night I stay awake thinking he might come in. I have to get it out of my mind. I know what you said before, but I’m afraid I don’t know Dad very well.
