Eden Villas & Apartments in Albufeira, Algarve, is launching a brand new circus this summer, with a new circus tent and a new program that brings magic, acrobatics, comedy and children’s performances to the heart of the resort. As Portugal’s only all-inclusive hotel with its own circus, Eden Villas & Apartments offers families a distinctive alternative to the traditional fly-and-flop holiday.
The circus program runs from Tuesday to Friday throughout the summer season, offering a different family-friendly experience every evening, from grand illusions and magical performances to aerial hoop, silk and trapeze acts, juggling and acrobatics. The program also includes physical comedy, interactive audience participation and on Fridays the opportunity for children aged four and up to take part in the show themselves after rehearsals in the Kids Club during the week.
The shows start at 8:30 PM and last about 45 minutes to an hour, followed by dancing and entertainment until about 10 PM. Admission is included for resort guests, without reservation.
The circus is part of Eden Villas & Apartments’ wider family-oriented summer offering. The resort combines flexible villa and apartment style accommodation with an AquaFun Park, an outdoor family pool, an outdoor adults-only pool, tennis and football courts, a kids’ club, mini market, three bars, two restaurants and a free shuttle service to Albufeira center and nearby beaches.
New this season, Eden Villas & Apartments has introduced a beach concession at Praia da Oura, accessible via the hotel’s free shuttle service, with parasols, sun loungers, food and drinks, and optional all-inclusive beach packages in June, July and August. The resort has also expanded its family offering with the Lucas Nursery for children aged 0 to 3 years and Eddie’s Club, which offers a daily activity program for children aged 4 to 12 years.
