Minor Hotels appoints Kanruethai Roongruang as general manager of Avani+ Hua Hin Resort | News
Minor Hotels, a global hospitality leader with more than 640 hotels in operation and dedicated development in 66 countries, announces the appointment of Kanruethai Roongruang as General Manager of Avani+ Hua Hin Resort.
Originally from Phuket, Thailand, Kanruethai brings more than 25 years of hospitality experience in Thailand and international markets, with a strong background in resort operations, wellness, commercial strategy, business development and luxury hospitality leadership.
Most recently, Kanruethai was Chief Executive Officer of Island Escape Burasari and Burasari Residences in Phuket, where she was responsible for overall strategic direction, resort operations, commercial performance, property development and team leadership. Her duties included overseeing Island Escape Burasari’s operations on Coconut Island.
Kanruethai has also held senior leadership roles at the Banyan Group in Thailand and the Maldives. As General Manager of Banyan Tree Vabbinfaru and Dhawa Ihuru in the Maldives, she led an integrated resort operation spanning two islands.
