Local events:
Redentore – Every third weekend of July, Venice celebrates the iconic Festa del Redentore, one of the city’s most anticipated annual events. The celebration will take place on Saturday, July 18, 2026 and can be enjoyed from Hilton Molino Stucky Venice’s prime waterfront location, on Giudecca, with panoramic views of the city and the Giudecca Canal. Guests can immerse themselves in the unique atmosphere by walking along the canal and crossing the temporary pontoon bridge that connects the Redentore Church to Zattere before the evening festivities begin.

Events around Venice – In addition to established highlights such as the Venice Biennale and the Venice Film Festival, the city hosts a vibrant program of cultural events throughout the summer, including concerts in Piazza San Marco with renowned Italian artists (June 25 – July 15), the 20th International Festival of Contemporary Dance (July 17 – August 1) and exhibitions such as Transforming Energy by Marina Abramović at the Gallerie dell’Accademia. The season ends with the Historic Regatta on September 6, with a spectacular parade of historic boats along the Grand Canal.

Lagoon Experiences – Guests who want to explore the city further can discover the Venice Lagoon by bike from Punta Sabbioni to Treporti, enjoy boat trips to islands such as San Giorgio Maggiore, Sant’Erasmo and San Lazzaro degli Armeni, spend a relaxing day on the beaches of the Lido, or embark on a sunset catamaran cruise accompanied by live jazz music.
