Saudi Red Sea Authority issues yacht charter license to 1760 Limited Company | News

Saudi Red Sea Authority (SRSA) has issued a yacht charter license to One Thousand Seven Hundred Sixty Limited Company, as part of its ongoing efforts to build a more regulated and reliable coastal tourism sector, enhance the preparedness of maritime and navigation tourism activities in the Red Sea, ensure quality of service, protect the marine environment and enable specialized investment growth in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
The license marks a further step in regulating yacht charter activities and expanding the range of maritime tourism services offered in the Kingdom through a regulatory framework that balances investor and operator support with higher levels of compliance, safety and sustainability across all maritime activities.
In accordance with its mandate, the SRSA regulates maritime and navigation tourism activities and grants the necessary licenses and permits. It also develops the rules, regulations and standards for coastal tourism marinas, supporting their development and growth, and encouraging investment in maritime and navigation activities. These efforts help create an attractive environment for operators and practitioners, while supporting industry growth based on clear and effective regulatory foundations.
SRSA issues hunting card licenses after verifying that applicants have met all approved regulatory requirements. This includes meeting the requirements of the SRSA, confirming the seaworthiness of yachts and applying security, safety and environmental protection requirements in accordance with local regulations and approved standards.
These licenses help improve the efficiency of yacht mapping activities, increase the reliability of the services provided to beneficiaries and expand the options available within marine tourism experiences. They also support attracting investment, creating quality employment and promoting more sustainable practices for the protection and conservation of the marine environment.
This license brings the total number of yacht charter licenses issued by SRSA in the Kingdom to nine in the second quarter of 2026. This reflects SRSA’s ongoing efforts to develop the coastal and maritime tourism sector in the Red Sea, improve the quality of its services and strengthen its regulatory maturity in a manner that supports its sustainability and competitiveness.
