Donald Trump is facing brutal ridicule after calling Elon Musk ‘Leon’

President Donald Trump is once again being ridiculed online after accidentally calling Elon Musk “Leon” while showing off the new Air Force One plane donated by Qatar. RadarOnline.com can reveal.
The 80-year-old president unveiled the luxury Boeing plane on June 19, touting its advanced technology and communications systems as he toured the aircraft meant to replenish the aging presidential fleet.
The awkward moment came as Trump discussed the plane’s state-of-the-art capabilities, including the integration of Starlink, Musk’s SpaceX satellite internet service.
“We have communications equipment up there that no one has ever seen before. It’s the highest level, including Starlink, my friend Leon – my friend Elon will be very happy,” Trump said, quickly correcting himself after the verbal slip-up.
While the president immediately corrected himself, snippets of the comment quickly spread across social media, where users wasted little time in piling up.
“If you’re Leon, are you more afraid that dementia will take hold or that the man you thought was your puppet doesn’t even know your name?” a critic wrote about X.
Another user joked: “New nickname unlocked.”
“He will forever be Leon Musk,” the commentator added.
“From now on he’s Leon,” someone else said.
Others were even more blunt in their criticism.
“Crazy grandpa sounds sick. I hope it’s not serious,” one user wrote.
‘This man has dementia. In a normal world this would be the case [the] biggest scandal, but we are so insensitive to daily corruption that it is swept under the carpet by the media. Crazy,” one person bluntly shared.
Another wrote: “Not the first time but still perfect from where we are now when you add this to the rest of his crazy behavior.”
“Dementia Don,” read one comment.
The confusion between Elon and “Leon” wasn’t the only moment during Friday’s Air Force One event that drew attention online.
Earlier in the day, Trump became the subject of another viral clip after he appeared to briefly lose track of where to leave the stage following his remarks at Joint Base Andrews.
Footage showed the president standing near the newly unveiled Boeing 747 before turning away from the designated staircase and beginning to walk in the opposite direction.
An aide quickly intervened and pointed him to the correct exit, prompting Trump to change directions and leave the stage without incident.
As the footage spread online, users flooded comment sections with jokes and criticism aimed at the president.
“Grandpa is a little overwhelmed,” someone wrote on X.
“At this point it might make more sense to just buy him a belt,” another user joked.
“He’s starting to look more and more like the president he prefers to mock,” someone else wrote, apparently referring to former President Joe Biden.
