Fairmont St Andrews is pleased to announce the appointment of Kristian Campbell as Managing Director. Campbell is a highly respected hospitality leader with more than twenty years of leadership experience in luxury hotels, resorts and service-oriented organizations. He brings extensive expertise in operational excellence, guest experience, commercial performance and people leadership.
Campbell joins Fairmont St Andrews following a Senior Executive role at Elanic Medical, where he oversaw a period of significant growth and development. Previously, he was Resort General Manager at Crieff Hydro Resort, one of Scotland’s leading hospitality destinations, where he was responsible for a large multi-site operation and significant investment projects. He is also no stranger to St Andrews, having previously been general manager of the renowned Rusacks Hotel. During his tenure, he played a key role in strengthening the property’s position within the luxury market, leading commercial growth, improving guest satisfaction and developing strong relationships in the international golf industry.
His career has been characterized by a focus on operational excellence, team development and creating memorable guest experiences, making him ideally placed to lead Fairmont St Andrews as the resort continues to build on its reputation as one of Scotland’s premier luxury destinations.
