“We are pleased to welcome Robert, Angelica and their team to eXp Realty,” CEO Leo Pareja said in a statement. “Their commitment to excellence and focus on growth aligns perfectly with our mission. eXp Realty continues to attract the best of the best, and we are seeing tremendous growth in quality globally as more top real estate agents recognize the value of our platform.”

eXp is one of the few national brokerages adding agents and teams at a rapid pace. In September, CanZell Real Estatewhich operates in 20 states, joined with New York-based eXp Grand Lux Real Estate.

Real estate agents have been under fire since the National Association of Real Estate Agents settled antitrust lawsuits against her for $418 million in March. New data from AccountTECH shows that larger brokers are more financially sensitive to any commission decreases than smaller brokers. This is often due to the burden of higher overhead costs associated with office space and middle management.
