The Bench launches ‘FHS Living’ in Paris – the first European investment platform | News

The Bench today announced the launch of FHS Living, a new investor-led platform under the Future Hospitality Summit series. Taking place in Paris in February 2027, FHS Living is the only curated, pan-European investment marketplace focused on the Living asset classes: branded residential properties, student housing, senior living, serviced living, co-living, club concepts, shared ownership, mixed-use developments and hotels. The conference joins The Bench’s growing portfolio of investment summits alongside FHS World, FHS Saudi Arabia, FHS Africa and FHS Egypt.
Living has consolidated its position as the largest real estate investment sector in Europe. In 2025, €46.9 billion was invested in European living assets (JLL), with a further €50 billion of capital planned for deployment over the next three years (Savils). But despite this scale, capital allocators, developers and operators across the spectrum still lack a single, investment-focused platform to convene, transact and build partnerships across Europe.
FHS Living addresses this gap by bringing together global capital and the European residential sector across every major asset class. The platform operates as a curated investment marketplace, based on pre-planned 1:1 meetings with investors, a dedicated Deal Room, a Leadership Stage, investor tours of live Paris projects and structured roundtable discussions focused on capital deployment. The two-day program includes sessions such as Where Capital Is Moving: Living Sectors as the Next Frontier, Underwriting Living Assets: Risk, Returns & Platform Strategies, Europe Meets Middle East: Bridging Capital with Opportunity Across Regions, and Branded Residences in Focus: Global Demand, Premium Pricing & Scalable Growth.
To ensure the agenda reflects the priorities of the market, FHS Living is launching with an initial 40 confirmed Founding Advisors, drawn from senior leaders across the residential and real estate investment industries, including: Marloes Knippenberg, Chief Executive Officer, Kerten Hospitality; Dirk Bakker, CEO Hospitality, Necron Group; Asli Kutlucan, Chief Executive Officer Europe, TFE Hotels; Alyshia Mangalji, board member and SVP Europe and Africa, Westmont Hospitality; Jagdish Johal, Managing Partner, YOO; Khalid Saud Abuhaimed, CEO, Al Khozama Investments; Theodor Kubak, Managing Partner, Arbireo Capital; Hans Meyer, co-founder, Zoku; Philip Lassman, Managing Director, NUMA; Joanne Owen, Partner, DLA Piper. More advisors will be announced in the coming weeks. View all advisors: futurehospitality.com/living/founding-advisors
“Over the past three decades, I have had the privilege of bringing together the global hospitality investment community,” said Jonathan Worsley, Chairman of The Bench. “Today we stand at another inflection point. Capital is being deployed for a whole new generation of living assets and the industry needs a forum that reflects how that capital actually moves – across sectors, regions and disciplines. A place where deals are initiated, partnerships are formed and new models of life are defined.”
FHS Living is built on the track record of one of the world’s most influential hospitality investment platforms. During the 2025 conference series, the Future Hospitality Summit brought together more than 3,000 C-level decision makers, including 621 investors representing more than $11 trillion in assets under management, facilitated $3 billion in business opportunities and saw 29 historic hotel signings announced on stage. The forum has the same unifying force, now focused on the residential sector and anchored in Europe.
The organizers actively welcome expressions of interest from investors, developers, operators and advisors who wish to participate in the inaugural edition.
