Melania Trump slams stepson Don Jr.’s wedding in the Bahamas

The Slovenian native has reportedly been “emotionally distant” from the president’s children for some time.

“Melania didn’t want to spend an entire weekend with Donald’s adult children from previous marriages,” an insider told Rob Shuter on his Substack page: Naughty but nice. “That tension has existed for years, even though no one says so publicly.”

As for Barron, he doesn’t have a good relationship with his older half-siblings.

“Barron grew up in a completely different world than Don Jr., Eric, Ivanka and Tiffany,” another source claimed. “There’s an emotional distance there, and everyone in the family knows that.”

The Trump children, with the exception of Tiffany, were turned away from Barron’s birthday celebrations in March, when Melania put her foot down over the invitations.

“They are not close at all,” the insider told Shuter at the time. “This was not a mistake.”

A second source added, “Melania is in charge, and she wanted this to be about Barron, not Donald Trump, and not his other children.”
