Melania Trump leaves Don Jr.’s wedding omitted

Melania Trump was nowhere to be seen when Donald Trump Jr. married Bettina Anderson in an intimate wedding in the Bahamas last weekend, and insiders claim her absence was no accident. RadarOnline.com can reveal.

The 56-year-old first lady has reportedly skipped Saturday, May 23, celebration with husband President Donald Trump, with sources claiming that longstanding tensions within the Trump family played a major role in the decision.

“Melania didn’t want to spend an entire weekend with Donald’s adult children from previous marriages,” an insider told Rob Shuter on his Substack page: Naughty but nice. “That tension has existed for years, even though no one says so publicly.”

Melania shares son Barron Trump, 20, with the president, 79, and sources claim she has remained “emotionally distant” from Trump’s older children — Donald Jr., Eric Trump, Ivanka Trump and Tiffany Trump — for much of their marriage.

According to insiders, Barron also skipped the wedding festivities and is said to have little connection with his older half-siblings.

“Barron grew up in a completely different world than Don Jr., Eric, Ivanka and Tiffany,” another source claimed. “There’s an emotional distance there, and everyone in the family knows that.”

While Donald publicly blamed his work commitments and rising international tensions for missing his son’s big day, insiders believe much more was going on behind the scenes.

“While I desperately wanted to be with my son, Don Jr., and the newest member of the Trump family, his wife-to-be, Bettina, circumstances involving the government and my love for the United States of America do not allow me to do so,” Donald wrote in Truth Social on May 22.

“I feel it is important for me to remain in Washington, DC, at the White House during this important period,” he added, before concluding: “Congratulations to Don and Bettina! President DONALD J. TRUMP.”

Just one day earlier, Donald hinted that he might not attend during a call with reporters in the Oval Office.

“Um…he would like me to go, but it will just be a small private matter,” the president said. “I’m going to try to make it. I said, ‘This is not good timing for me. I have like Iran and other things.'”
