Jason Biggs’ extreme diet reportedly put a strain on his marriage

They said: “Jason’s whole mindset seemed to evolve after the weight loss. Previously he felt much more relaxed and comfortable with disappearing into family life, but once the transformation took place he became increasingly driven by image, career goals and how he was perceived publicly. Friends began to notice that he was behaving differently and seemed much more preoccupied with maintaining this new version of himself.
“Losing the amount of weight he had lost before the breakup gave him a huge surge of confidence and energy, but it also shifted the balance of the relationship in a way that neither of them had really expected. People around them felt like Jenny was suddenly involved with a different person emotionally and professionally.
“The transformation changed more than just his appearance – it affected his priorities, his outlook and ultimately the dynamics between them. The diet was also extreme and affected his mood.”
Biggs recently spoke publicly about the weight loss, explaining that he initially changed his lifestyle after health problems related to high cholesterol.
He said his “cholesterol dropped 70 points” after following a stricter diet and fitness regime.
The actor is believed to have lost more than 40 pounds, although insiders suggested the physical transformation had emotional consequences within the marriage.
One source said: “In the beginning, Jason was just trying to get healthier and tackle the cholesterol issues, so no one expected the transformation to be so dramatic. But as the weight continued to come off and people started complimenting him, it clearly had a big impact on his self-esteem. He became very proud of what he had achieved physically and started carrying himself with a whole different level of confidence and swagger.”
The source added: “It wasn’t just about him looking slimmer. The attention and positive comments he received seemed to change the way he saw himself overall. Friends noticed that he seemed more confident, ambitious and much more conscious of his image than before.”
