Sarah Ferguson’s ex-staff left ‘crying’ amid a ‘chaotic’ royal family

Speak with Page sixLownie claimed that working for the 66-year-old Ferguson was “absolutely chaotic,” largely because of what he described as her impulsive behavior and inability to make decisions.

“She couldn’t make up her mind,” the author claimed. “She changed her mind at the last minute.”

According to Lownie, the constant unpredictability created appalling working conditions for those working in the royal family. Staff morale was reportedly so poor that some employees were reduced to tears behind closed doors.

“People [were] crying in the bathroom,” he claimed, adding that many employees quit after working there for “half a day.”

The author also claimed that those who remained employed by Ferguson soon found that the role became all-consuming.

“Very few people stayed,” Lownie claimed. “And when they did, it was a 24-hour kind of job, because she had this extraordinary energy, and she would fly off to different places, not very organized.”
