The real reason Andrew Windsor is stranded on King Charles’ estate

Other nearby homes reportedly presented similar problems.

York House, which includes stables and outbuildings, was considered too vulnerable due to its location closer to the center of estate activity.

Another property, The Folly, is also rented to holidaymakers.

Park House – the former childhood home of Diana, Princess of Wales – was also ruled out due to its reported state of disrepair.

In the weeks before Andrew’s arrival, Marsh Farm underwent extensive renovation and security work.

Traders reportedly made major upgrades to create some of the comfort and luxury associated with the $40 million Royal Lodge.

Family-run carpet company Linney Cooper, which has a Royal Warrant and has worked at Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle, was among the companies seen on site.

The safety measures have also been considerably expanded.

A six-foot fence and large entrance gate have been installed around the farm, along with extensive CCTV coverage and additional security lighting designed to protect Andrew from public gaze and press attention.
