Donald Trump Jr. is facing backlash for sharing bikini photos of daughter Kai
Donald Trump Jr. was roasted after he shared a photo carousel in honor of his daughter Kai’s 19th birthday, featuring several bikini photos of the YouTube star. RadarOnline.com can reveal.
His Instagram post showed his eldest child in her form-fitting red prom dress, along with photos of him and his daughter from when she was a little girl.
But the swimsuit photos left some Instagram followers scratching their heads, as Kai doesn’t share bikini content on her own page.
“Happy birthday to my absolute favorite 19 year old child. @kaitrumpgolfer I love you and continue to be amazed at the woman you are becoming,” the 48-year-old first son captioned his post on May 12.
Don Jr.’s fiancée, Bettina Anderson, responded in the comments, “I can’t believe you have a kid in college!” about Kai, who will begin her freshman year at the University of Miami this fall.
He replied, “I’m an old man, honey,” to his 39-year-old bride-to-be.
While most responses Don Jr. and praised Vanessa for raising such a sweet and “beautiful” young lady, some people had doubts about the bikini photos.
One user shamed the father of five for the swimsuit photo, writing, “You’re posting the first pics of her in a thong bikini,” as Kai hasn’t posted any swimsuit photos to her social media accounts.
However, a second flowed over Don Jr.’s photo. and Kai sharing a swing during their tropical vacation as she rocked the two-piece.
“I love photo #2. This is where I want to be,” the fan wrote.
There were many critical comments, with a third writing: “What a terrible father and person you are.”
A fourth comment read: “Insane post considering the political climate you guys have created. Do you think you’re popular or do you just not mind exposing your family to vitriol?”
A fifth user wrote: “Happy to see the Trump family and @donaldjtrumpjr enjoying their wealth while the majority of Americans are struggling.”
“Beautiful, smart, disciplined and hardworking just like the rest of the Trump family. Let the haters hate. Their actions only speak about them and no one else,” a sixth follower assured Don Jr. about the trolls.
Don Jr. and ex-wife Vanessa gathered at her home to throw an intimate birthday party for Kai, complete with decor for the room.
The birthday girl blew out candles on top of a round pink cake, dripping with red icing running down one side, as family and friends cheered her on.
Instead of having a bigger celebration, the exes opted for a nice family dinner at home, where Kai was surrounded by her siblings and a close group of school friends.
Kai’s Instagram post from the party showed off the catered menu for the bash, which included spicy tuna and salmon crispy rice, short rib barbacoa and chicken carnitas street tacos, buffalo wings, lamb’s lettuce, chips and guacamole, pan-roasted beef tenderloin and pasta with basil pesto.
Future stepmom Anderson wrote in the comments, “HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!! You have such an exciting year ahead, as Don Jr.’s brother, Eric Trump, told his niece, “I love this girl!” Happy birthday, Kaj!”
