Epstein’s cellmate pushes back on Brother’s claim that ‘Suicide Note’ is fake

Jeffrey Epstein’s cellmate, Nick Tartaglione, has fired back at Mark Epstein’s claim that his brother’s recently revealed suicide note is a “forgery.” RadarOnline.com can file a report, and insists that the sex fiend was murdered.

Tartaglione seemed to believe that Mark was trying to implicate him in Jeffrey’s death, which did not sit well with him.

Tartaglione, a disgraced ex-cop serving four life sentences, says Mark is wrong to insinuate that he played a role in Jeffrey’s death – or in the note.

“If Epstein’s brother has any doubts about whether it is authentic, let him hire his own handwriting experts and authenticate it.” Tartaglione told it Living in a house Substack writer Jessica Reed Kraus released from prison. ‘I didn’t gain anything from that letter anyway. As always, I just told the truth.”

That “truth,” according to Tartaglione, was that he came across the note and revealed it had been torn from a yellow legal pad and hidden in plain sight.

At the time, the cellmates had reportedly gotten into a fight with each other, and Mark hinted that there might have been a motivation to kill Jeffrey.

But Tartaglione insisted Jeffrey felt he was one of the few people in prison he could trust.

“Jeffrey Epstein wanted to be put back in my cell,” he alleged in a 50-page report. “Epstein offered me money not to return to the general population and to stay in the closet with him because he felt safe with me.”

He explained, “It’s not like we were great friends or anything, I’m just not an animal. I wasn’t going to hurt him or bully him or blackmail him or anything. My goal is to get home. I don’t gain anything from bullying him.”

Furthermore, the hulking Tartaglione said Jeffrey wouldn’t stand a chance if the two collided again.

“Jeffrey Epstein had marks around his neck because he tried to hang himself. At the time, I weighed 240, 250 pounds and had a bench press of over 500 pounds. If I wanted to hurt Jeffrey Epstein, I could have hurt Jeffrey Epstein.”

‘I didn’t hurt Jeffrey Epstein. Jeffrey Epstein committed suicide,” Tartaglione doubled down.

Tartaglione was even credited with bringing Jeffrey back from the void after his first suicide attempt in July 2019. According to Kraus, Epstein appeared to be asleep and snoring loudly that night.

“Nick put on headphones and went to sleep. At one point he felt something hit his leg. When his eyes adjusted to the dark, he saw Epstein hanging, his eyes partially open.”

Kraus writes that Tartaglione claimed he used a “small razor blade that prisoners were allowed to groom. Nick says he cut Epstein off and started chest compressions while calling for guards. He says Epstein was able to breathe again before officers arrived.”

But there doesn’t seem to be any convincing Mark, who burst out over the note: ‘It’s bulls–t and let me explain why. I’ve known Jeff all my life. If he were to commit suicide, if he were to write a suicide note, he would have written it “to someone,” not just a general statement saying goodbye. I don’t believe that.’

Additionally, Mark claims there were “other bruises” on the disgraced financier’s body that the New York City Office of the Chief Medical Examiner ignored.

He claims that these markings “conclusively prove that it could not have been a suicide.”
