The saga quickly gained momentum when the Orange is the new black actress made the shocking claims messages on Topics on April 12, in response to a article about Perry reacting to Justin Bieber’s Coachella performance.
“Katy Perry sexually assaulted me at Spice Market nightclub in Melbourne. Who cares what she thinks,” she claimed.
In a follow-up post, Rose said she was only in her early 20s when the alleged incident occurred and that “it took me almost 20 years to say this publicly.”
“She saw me resting on my best friend’s lap to avoid her and leaned over, pulled her underwear aside and rubbed her disgusting f—– all over my face until my eyes opened and I projectile vomited on her‘ she recalled. ‘I told the story publicly, but changed it to a ‘funny drunk story’ because I didn’t know how else to handle it. Later she agreed to help me get my US visa. So I kept it a secret. But I did tell you she wasn’t a good person. Instead, I was attacked by… everyone.”
Rose continued, “She is more than welcome to sue me (she won’t, because it happened, I have pictures, and it was literally out in public and seen by multiple people). Plus, so much more happened in the years leading up to her silly song that she doesn’t want me to talk about… The psychological manipulation was strong on that song.”
She also claimed that Perry “wrote and signed the letters of recommendation for [her] US visa application, in the 2010s.”
The Around the Block The actress never reported it when it happened, although she revealed she would “walk into a police station to see if anything was going on [her] experiences can be explored.”
“I imagine they’re past their statute of limitations, but all the more reason to try. I have a long list, it will probably take more out of me than I’m prepared for, but I’ll be back here to update others on the process as soon as I’m ready,” she added. “For years I have been too wounded and afraid to take the right steps because I know the system rarely works.”
Rose confirmed that submitted the report hours after sharing the serious accusations.
“This means I can no longer comment, repost or talk publicly about these cases or the people involved,” she said. wrote. “It will seem like I’m ignoring everything from supportive messages to the experiences of others, but I’m not. This is a standard request from law enforcement and in many ways a relief. I can now begin the healing process. And move on temporarily. I love you all so much.”
