The Jackson Family Dynasty’s fortunes revealed during Paris’ battle with the estate

The picture is even more precarious for Randy Jackson, 69, who filed for bankruptcy in 1996 and later pleaded guilty to bankruptcy fraud, with reports suggesting his net worth remains below $100,000.

In stark contrast is Janet Jackson, 60, the youngest sibling and the richest of the family, with an estimated fortune of $180 million built around her record worldwide sales of more than 100 million and a series of successful tours, including her Together Again Tour.

As tensions rise, a source close to the family said: “Jackson’s estate is one of the most lucrative in entertainment history, but it also highlights the complexities of inheritance, control and family dynamics – especially when the financial stakes are so high and Paris is on the warpath.”

Since April, Paris has been embroiled in a fierce legal battle with the executors of her father’s estate, John Branca and John McClain, over excessive fees and lack of transparency.

She claims they have received more than $148 million in compensation, while the estate claims she has already profited $65 million.
