Ferrari World Yas Island, Abu Dhabi has officially secured a new Guinness World Records™ title for the fastest speed achieved by a roller coaster launch for its iconic ride, Formula Rossa. The legendary attraction accelerates from 0 to 150 mph in just 4.9 seconds in a single powerful launch, setting a remarkable benchmark in roller coaster engineering and further cementing its place in global theme park history.
The park was named World’s Leading Theme Park 2025 at last year’s World Travel Awards.

The official Guinness World Records™ certificate was presented to Farid Al Qaiwani, Chief Commercial Officer at Miral and Vinod Kolani, Deputy GM at Ferrari World Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, by Raafat Tawfik, Official Guinness World Records™ Adjudicator, MENA Region and Türkiye, at an exclusive ceremony at the award-winning theme park, celebrating another record-breaking milestone.
