IHG Hotels & Resorts (IHG), one of the world’s leading hotel companies, and All Nippon Airways Co., Ltd. (ANA), Japan’s largest airline, today announced a comprehensive loyalty partnership, setting a new benchmark for loyalty collaboration between hotels and airlines in the travel industry. Starting in October, IHG One Rewards and ANA Mileage Club (AMC) members will have access to benefits including enhanced loyalty and recognition offerings for AMC members, earning double dip points on select ANA flights and two-way redemption of points for ANA miles and IHG One Rewards points. Through this partnership, members can earn and redeem rewards across ANA’s extensive international network serving 40 cities and 55 routes worldwide, as well as across IHG’s global hotel portfolio of more than 7,000 hotels in more than 100 countries.

AMC Member Benefits – A loyalty and recognition offer for AMC status members
Once enrolled in both programs and after linking accounts, AMC status members are eligible to have their AMC member status recognized in their IHG One Rewards account corresponding to their AMC status. AMC status members with Diamond + More, Diamond, Platinum or Bronze status receive the corresponding IHG One Rewards status, Diamond Elite, Platinum Elite, Gold Elite, Silver Elite – and enjoy benefits such as room upgrades and late check-out at all participating IHG hotels worldwide. For AMC Diamond and Diamond + More members, two elite qualifying nights are required to achieve target status.
Benefits for AMC Members and IHG One Rewards Members – Earn Double Dip Loyalty Points on select ANA international flights
By earning Double Dip loyalty, international travelers flying to Japan on an ANA-ticketed and operated flight can earn IHG One Rewards points in addition to ANA miles, unlocking seamless double-dip earning opportunities and reward redemptions for air travel and hotel stays. Travelers can link their loyalty accounts and benefit from a double dip, with IHG One Rewards points awarded based on flight distance and fare class.
Benefits for AMC Members and IHG One Rewards Members – Two-way points exchange
IHG One Rewards and AMC members can take advantage of two-way points exchange, building on the existing ability to convert IHG One Rewards points to ANA miles by also offering members the ability to convert ANA miles to IHG One Rewards points. This offers more choice and flexibility for both loyalty programs, creating a seamless mutual loyalty ecosystem.
