Pom Thaï Ibiza returns to Ibiza for the summer of 2026 | News

Pom Thaï (www.pomthairestaurant.com) Ibiza opens on May 1 for the 2026 summer season, marking the return of one of the island’s most coveted dining spots for islanders in the know.

Pom Thaï has long been a fixture on the Ibiza restaurant scene and has built a loyal following for its energetic atmosphere and modern Thai cuisine. Each season it attracts a mix of international visitors, returning regulars and people from the music industry – including globally renowned DJs and creatives – who are looking for a place where dinner flows naturally into the evening.

Launched in 2014, Pom Thaï started on the island of Ibiza, founded by French restaurateur-wine enthusiast Johnny and Thai chef Pom.

With deep roots in the Ibiza community, art and wine, the restaurant is known for its shareable menu of bold, flavorful Thai dishes designed for casual, social dining. Evenings are unstructured and lively, with the experience moving seamlessly from browsing the restaurant’s renowned boutique shop for fashion and lifestyle items, to a cozy dinner on the terrace and finally to late-night drinks.

The menu revolves around contemporary Thai dishes designed for sharing, from fragrant curries and Thai basil stir-fries to grilled meats and lighter, flavorful dishes. Signature dishes include Kwyteiyw Neux with oxtail and beef cheek ‘POM style’, Moo Van caramelised pork with black mushroom sauce, as well as classics such as Som Tam Thaï green papaya salad and Toung Tong prawn dumplings, all designed to be enjoyed at the table in a relaxed, social setting.

After a strong first winter season in Courchevel, Pom Thaï continues to build an authentic community in both winter and summer destinations. For those who discovered the concept in the Alps, Ibiza’s reopening offers a natural next chapter, trading the slopes for the island’s warmer, late-night rhythm.
