Meghan Markle is humiliated for her ‘most brazen cash grab yet’

The items – which included a $440 striped shirt, $139 jeans, $298 sneakers, $198 sunglasses and a $950 suede bag – were listed on One-timean AI-powered fashion platform in which Markle is both an investor and beneficiary of affiliate sales.

The entry, which also featured her husband Prince Harry, 41, was later removed and replaced with a less controversial image of Meghan away from the beach setting.

It is believed that the Duchess earns between 10 and 25 percent commission on items sold through the platform.

The timing of the promotion, which coincided with a visit during which Markle and Harry met with victims and first responders, drew sharp criticism from observers who questioned the advisability of monetizing at such a time.

A source familiar with the reaction told us: “To many observers, the decision to pair a carefully crafted outfit with a commission-based platform so soon after such a sensitive and emotionally charged visit has come across as a serious error of judgment on Meghan’s part.

“It risks giving the impression that commercial considerations prevailed at a time when it was expected to remain focused on empathy and respect. It is truly seen as her boldest cash grab yet.”
