THE RITZ-CARLTON OʻAHU, TURTLE BAY ANNOUNCES NEW SUMMER PROGRAMMING | News

As O’ahu recovers from recent events, The Ritz-Carlton O’ahu, Turtle Bay welcomes travelers to a summer of discovery and adventure on the North Shore.

The resort is fully operational with all amenities and activities, and the North Shore’s ocean waters remain safe and clear for swimming, surfing and coastal exploration. While some island communities continue recovery and cleanup efforts, the region’s most beloved attractions, including Hale’iwa, Waimea Valley, the Polynesian Cultural Center and the region’s famous food trucks, are open and thoughtfully welcoming visitors during the spring and summer seasons. Access to and from the North Shore to all parts of the island remains available from the resort.

“Our community has shown incredible strength in recent weeks, and we are proud to support our neighbors as the North Shore returns to its vibrant self,” said Doug Chang, general manager of The Ritz-Carlton O’ahu, Turtle Bay. “For those looking to support O’ahu’s recovery, an impactful way to give back is to maintain your travel plans. By respectfully visiting the North Shore, guests contribute directly to the economic heartbeat of the region while enjoying the unparalleled beauty of the coastline.”

By choosing the North Shore this summer, guests will support local recovery efforts while enjoying the resort and surrounding community. To officially kick off the spring and summer season, the resort has introduced a brand new program including:

New programming at The Ritz-Carlton O’ahu, Turtle Bay:

“Town & Country” Chef Series: This new culinary series kicks off May 23 and features the resort’s Chef Daniel Quintero, new Chef David Fernandez of signature restaurant Alia and Top Chef star Sheldon Simeon, combining the gastronomy of Maui in Wailuku Town with the “country” soul of the North Shore. A portion of the series’ proceeds will be donated to Chef Hui to provide relief and community-led resources to farmers affected by the storm. Reservations are available here.
Sunset Sessions with Local Musicians: Launched June 5, Sunset Sessions is the newest series coming to the resort all summer long, taking place every Friday and Saturday through August 16 at the Sunset Bar and benefiting Henry Kapono’s On the Rise program for emerging Hawaii musicians. The program will bring local musicians from O’ahu and neighboring islands to perform for both Ritz-Carlton guests and kama’aina to enjoy.
Sand in My Boots (4th of July): This Independence Day, the resort is hosting a 4th of July BBQ on Kuilima Point Lawn, featuring live music, “Taste of the North Shore” dining options and an evening drone show. Additional details, including a philanthropic component, will be announced soon.
