The Secrets of a restaurant chef host moved on to Claxton, whom she met on the dating app Bumble in 2018, years after her divorce from Grieveson.

She told a news source that they “both knew right away” that they were meant for each other.

“I don’t know if we had both thought about marriage, but we were both like, ‘Oh, yeah, this is something,’” Burrell said at the time. “This is really going to become a reality, and this is going to be something.”

She added“Once you’re a 50-year-old woman, you don’t really think that marriage is on the cards for you. I was always very focused on my career, and marriage was never something big in my life that I was looking for. When I met Stuart, my opinion about all that changed.”

Claxton proposed to Burrell in April 2020 in her hometown of Cazenovia, New York. The two exchanged vows during a ceremony at Windridge Estates RedBarn 20 on October 16, 2021.

They remained married until Burrell’s death on June 17, 2025, at the age of 55.
