gategroup and KLM announce strategic collaboration for the future of KLM Catering Services | News


gategroup, the leading global player in the field of catering and hospitality for airlines, and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines have reached an agreement under which gategroup will acquire a majority stake in KLM Catering Services (KCS). This milestone transaction establishes a long-term strategic partnership intended to redefine the future of inflight catering for KLM airlines at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.

After completion of the transaction, gategroup will acquire a 75% interest in KCS, while KLM will retain a 25% share. This structure guarantees a shared commitment to the company’s long-term success, while allowing KLM to focus on its core activities.
