Novotel invites the world to rethink rest with Australia’s leading sleep expert, Olivia Arezzolo | News

Novotel welcomes sleep expert, best-selling author and keynote speaker Olivia Arezzolo to the Novotel 37 Collective, a group of voices championing the idea that small, consistent improvements can transform everyday well-being.
In a world that rarely slows down, sleep has quietly become one of the greatest luxuries of modern life.
Longer workdays, brighter screens and endless to-do lists have made rest something that many people chase but rarely master. Yet sleep remains the basis of everything: how we think, how we feel and how we move through the world.
Today, Novotel puts sleep back where it belongs: at the center of everyday well-being. As part of its recently unveiled purpose-driven platform Longevity Everyday, the global hotel brand explores the four pillars it sees as central to everyday well-being: eating, sleeping, moving and meeting. From March 2026, Novotel will turn its focus on its sleep experience, with the mission to help travelers experience better nights and brighter days.
Accompanying the journey is Olivia Arezzolo, Australia’s leading sleep expert, best-selling author and international keynote speaker, who joins the Novotel 37 Collective as the brand’s Sleep Expert1. Together they want to make one idea very simple: better sleep is achievable, step by step.
The power of small improvements
Longevity Everyday reflects Novotel’s belief that a longer, healthier life is not based on dramatic changes, but on small, intentional habits that multiply over time.
The brand’s new vision is built around the four pillars of Eat, Sleep, Move and Meet and aims to encourage guests around the world to make daily choices that support longer, fuller and happier lives, at home and in hotels. Sleep is at the heart of this philosophy.
“Longevity Everyday is about progress over perfection,” said Jean-Yves Minet, Global Brand President of Novotel.
“Sleep is fundamental. It is the most evidence-based investment anyone can make in their health, and Olivia Arezzolo has spent a career proving what is possible when people get it right. Now she brings that expertise to Novotel, making better sleep easy and within everyone’s reach.”
Launching globally in March, Novotel is unveiling a new sleep-focused chapter of its Longevity Everyday platform, bringing together expert guidance and practical experiences designed to support guests during their stay and beyond, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to better sleep.
Meet Novotel’s sleep expert
To guide this journey, Novotel has partnered with Olivia Arezzolo, one of the world’s most recognized voices in sleep. With more than 500 media appearances, hundreds of international keynote lectures, and a bestselling book published in multiple countries, Arezzolo has become a trusted voice for people looking for practical ways to improve their sleep.
Her work combines deep academic expertise in psychology, sleep science, physiology and nutrition with an informed understanding of the challenges of modern life: jet lag, digital overload, restless nights and busy schedules.
But what sets her apart is her approachability.
“My goal is to translate sleep science into simple steps that are actionable, achievable and accessible to everyone,” explains Olivia Arezzolo. “It’s not about being perfect, it’s about focusing on progress, getting just 1% better. Small consistent changes over time for meaningful, measurable improvements in sleep, energy, clarity and longevity. Sleep isn’t a nice thing to have – it’s a biological necessity, and when we get it right, we truly thrive.”
“Together with Novotel, we’re helping travelers build better habits so they can master their nights and, ultimately, their days.”
Novotel’s Sleep Quest: a year-long journey to better nights
To kick off Novotel’s focus on sleep, the brand is launching the Sleep Quest, an immersive storytelling journey led by Arezzolo. Over the course of a year, three ‘Sleep Apprentices’, each representing a different type of traveler, including a busy working parent, a frequent business traveler and an always-on adventurer, will work with Olivia to transform their sleep habits through small, practical changes.
Their journeys will unfold across Novotel’s global social media channels and provide a realistic view of how manageable shifts from evening rituals to circadian-friendly routines can drive meaningful improvements over time.
The series brings sleep science from the laboratory to everyday life.
Hotels design for better sleep
For Novotel, sleep has always been central to the hotel experience. With this focus on Longevity Everyday’s sleep pillar, the brand continues that commitment.
At Novotel hotels around the world, guests will encounter thoughtfully designed details that promote restorative tranquility, including:
new, raised bedding with soft and firm options
calming sleep ritual menus with relaxation techniques and guidance in relaxing
in-room tips and digital content developed with Olivia Arezzolo
guidance on exposure to light and sound environments to support natural circadian rhythms
Together, these elements make the hotel room more than just a place to sleep. It will be a space intentionally designed to help guests reset, recharge and wake up feeling restored. In addition to the stay itself, Novotel also wants to help guests take these rituals, habits and experiences outside the hotel and into everyday life.
For those who fall in love with the sleep experience, Novotel’s curated retail collection offers the opportunity to recreate it at home, with everything from bedding to the bed itself available through the Novotel Store.
The growing Novotel 37 collective
Arezzolo joins the Novotel 37 Collective, a growing community of voices united by a shared belief: small improvements, repeated daily, create extraordinary long-term change.
The number 37 reflects the mathematical principle that an improvement of just 1% every day leads to exponential growth over time – 37 times better by the end of the year.
The Collective includes:
Kauli Vaast, Olympic surfing champion
Alfie Steiner, progressive culinary maker
Javier Pastore, football legend of Paris Saint-Germain
Olivia Arezzolo, Australia’s leading sleep expert
Each represents one dimension of good living, from exercise and nutrition to connection and rest.
The future of relaxing travel
As travelers increasingly seek experiences that help them recuperate and recharge, Novotel believes the future of hospitality lies not only in where we go, but also in how we feel when we get home.
Because while many wellness trends come and go, sleep remains universal.
It is the silent force behind our energy, our clarity, our resilience and our joy.
And through Longevity Everyday, Novotel invites travelers everywhere to rediscover something simple, powerful and deeply human: a better night’s sleep.
