Luxury Ramadan Majlis returns to Jumeirah Emirates Towers | Focus

This year’s Ramadan at Jumeirah Emirates Towers focuses on the open-air Ramadan Majlis, located between the hotel’s two iconic towers in Dubai’s financial district.

During the Holy Month, the terrace space is transformed into a traditional Arabic gathering area where guests gather after sunset to break the fast.

The setting is particularly striking as it is located in the heart of the city, directly opposite the futuristic Museum of the Future and along the busy skyline of Sheikh Zayed Road.

The main experience is the Iftar and Suhoor dinner program.

At sunset, guests gather for Iftar, traditionally starting with dates and Arabic coffee before moving on to a large buffet of Middle Eastern classics and international dishes.

Typical offerings include mezze, grilled meats, lamb dishes, rice specialties and a wide range of Ramadan desserts.

Later in the evening, the atmosphere shifts to Suhoor, a more relaxed late night meal with lighter dishes, shisha and a social majlis-like environment where guests linger until the early hours.

The Majlis reflects traditional Ramadan hospitality.

The seating areas are decorated in majlis style with comfortable sofas and low tables, while old music and subtle lighting create a tranquil, reflective atmosphere.

Arabic coffee ceremonies, incense and decorative lanterns are part of the experience, reinforcing the cultural traditions associated with Ramadan gatherings in the Gulf.

The location also places the hotel close to one of Dubai’s seasonal Ramadan attractions, the Ramadan District.

This pop-up night market is located nearby and offers food stalls, small shop vendors and cultural performances that add to the evening atmosphere around the towers.
