Malaysia Airlines deploys additional European services to support travelers amid global disruptions | News

Malaysia Airlines will introduce additional flights between Kuala Lumpur-London Heathrow Airport (LHR) and Kuala Lumpur-Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) from March 6 to 8, 2026 to support travelers affected by ongoing disruptions across global travel networks.
Amid increased geopolitical and travel uncertainty, the airline is taking proactive steps to provide travelers with greater certainty and continuity. By deploying increased widebody capacity between Asia and Europe, Malaysia Airlines aims to help reunite families and support onward travel. These services will operate on carefully planned alternative routes avoiding affected regions, while keeping safety the airline’s top priority.
Malaysia Airlines will operate its regular daily flights in addition to the following additional flights, using the airline’s A350-900 aircraft:

In addition to these additional services, Malaysia Airlines is working closely with its partner airlines in Europe, Asia and beyond to facilitate onward connections for passengers affected by disruptions elsewhere in the network.
Bryan Foong, Chief Executive Officer of Malaysia Aviation Group’s Airline Business, said: “In times of uncertainty, aviation plays a vital role in keeping the world connected. We understand that behind every journey today are families hoping to reunite, students returning home and travelers navigating an evolving global situation. Malaysia Airlines is stepping up by adding capacity where it matters, working closely with our partners and ensuring people can continue to move safely and reliably between Asia and Europe. Our role is not only to operate flights, but also to provide stability and reassurance to travelers who need it most. With these additional services, Malaysia Airlines is proud to contribute to keeping global connections open while offering the warmth of Malaysian hospitality that characterizes our airline.”
Malaysia Airlines will continue to monitor developments closely and stands ready to adjust capacity as necessary to maintain reliable connectivity across its global network.
This initiative reflects the airline’s continued commitment to serve as a trusted bridge between continents while providing reliable service and the signature Malaysian hospitality that passengers around the world have come to expect.
