Villa Vie Residences today announced a strategic marketing alliance with Avora Residences, a recently launched luxury residential cruise brand. Avora is designed to complement Villa Vie’s highly successful contemporary residential offering as a luxury counterpart, expanding consumer choice within the fast-growing seaside living category.
Avora’s inaugural ship, Lumina, is expected to debut in January 2028 from Lisbon, Portugal.

The introduction of Avora Lumina underlines the strength and continued maturation of the residential-by-the-sea market, offering customers both an accessible entry point through Villa Vie and a more refined luxury experience through Avora. The partnership introduces mutual access privileges between the two brands, allowing residents to enjoy expanded global flexibility and curated cross-brand experiences, while maintaining each brand’s distinctive identity.
This alliance will allow residents of Villa Vie Residences and Avora Residences to enjoy Friends and Family benefits between ships, creating a more connected global lifestyle ecosystem. This structure offers greater route diversity, seasonal flexibility and expanded access to destinations around the world.
As part of the announcement, Villa Vie Residences is introducing an exclusive launch incentive related to the partnership. Guests who book a cabin aboard Odyssey in February for a minimum three-month stay during the month will receive a complimentary two-week visit aboard Avora Lumina after debut. This limited-time opportunity offers residents an early taste of Avora’s ultra-luxury experience, while further strengthening the lifestyle connection between the two brands.
The alliance will see residents of both Villa Vie Residences and Avora Residences gain access not only to Odyssey and Lumina, but also to additional ships planned for future introduction by the two brands.
Avora Residences represents a new expression of luxury at sea. Lumina will deliver a refined living experience defined by bespoke interiors, high-end culinary programming and a carefully curated global travel program designed for long-lasting, sophisticated living.

In a milestone for both brands, buyers of Lumina homes traveling aboard Odyssey will have the option to transfer directly to Lumina when the two ships meet for the first time at a planned celebratory event in Miami in late January 2028.
