Snoop Dogg is speaking out after an unimaginable family tragedy… the death of his 10-month-old granddaughter, Code.
The rap legend showed public support for his daughter, Cori Broadusafter revealing her baby girl dead just three weeks after discharge from the NICU, after a ten-month stay in the intensive care unit. Snoop shared a family photo on Instagram on Saturday featuring Cori. He kept his message short but sincere with sparkling hearts and praying hands emojis.
Fans immediately flooded the comments with condolences, prayers and messages of love for the grieving Broadus family.
Earlier in the day, Cori made the devastating announcement, sharing a black and white photo of her cradling baby Codi… her first child with fiancé Wayne Deuce …which confirms the heartbreaking loss. “On Monday I lost the love of my life. My Codi,” Cori wrote.
In a follow-up post, Cori struggled to come to terms with the timing of her daughter’s death, less than a month after Codi was finally released from the hospital.
“20 days later?! Dawg, I’m sick,” she added.
Cori previously revealed that Codi was born three months premature in February last year and had spent almost her entire life in the neonatal intensive care unit.
