Savannah Guthrie makes rare comments about the end of the first marriage in divorce

Guthrie found love again with political strategist Michael Feldman.

They met in 2008 at his 40th birthday party and started dating the following year after her divorce from Orchard was finalized.

Guthrie surprised fans in March 2014 when she announced it Today viewers that she and Feldman got married the weekend before in her adopted home state of Arizona and that the couple was also expecting their first child.

She gave birth to daughter Vale in August 2014, and the duo expanded their family with the birth of son Charley in December 2016.

Later in the episode of joy rides, Kotb asked Guthrie, “When were you happiest?”

“I will say that the most exquisite feeling of joy I ever felt was when those babies were born. When I saw those babies, and I heard them crying, and I saw them, and I held them, it was like an all-encompassing one,” she revealed about becoming a mother.

“I definitely think so, because it was all I ever wanted. That’s all I ever really wanted,” Guthrie said of parenthood.
