Hallmark releases Disney World Christmas movie starring Lacey Chabert

For the first time ever, Hallmark Channel is teaming up with Walt Disney World for a new original movie. “Holiday Ever After: A Disney World Wish Come True,” will be shot on location at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and will be directed by Lacey Chabert and Travis Van Winkle. Richard Kind, Christy Carlson Romano, Taegen Burns and Asher Alexander also star with Patrick Renna in a cameo role.

The film was announced Saturday during “The Hallmark Christmas Experience: A Hometown Holiday,” which aired after Chabert’s new film “She’s Making A List.” The Disney collaboration film, written and directed by Ryan Landels, will air during the 2026 17th annual Countdown to Christmas.

Here’s the official logline for “Holiday Ever After”: “Lindsey (Chabert) and her extended family head to Walt Disney World to spend a magical Christmas together. But the dream of a joyous holiday is quickly shattered when Lindsey discovers that her room is next to Philip (Van Winkle), a disastrous first date she recently had, who is also there on a family trip. As Lindsey and Philip’s paths cross during their stay, the frost begins to thaw when they discover that they are not Yet they are all different from each other. Thanks to the magic of Walt Disney World, Lindsey’s holiday wish in Cinderella Fountain just might turn their rivalry into romance.”

“The history between Hallmark and Disney goes back decades, when a shared Kansas City connection and friendship between Hallmark founder JC Hall and Walt Disney himself led to our very first licensed products, including the very first Mickey Mouse greeting card,” said Darren Abbott, Hallmark chief brand officer. “We are thrilled to expand our partnership beyond the products we create together and bring to screen with this heartwarming and joyful Christmas film that embodies the best of both brands.”

Hallmark and Disney will release an exclusive collection of products inspired by the film this coming holiday season, including greeting cards, ornaments, gifts and gift wrap.
