Reba McEntire Snaps At Savannah Guthrie After ‘Husband’ Slip-Up
Savannah Guthrie took aim at Reba McEntire’s romance with fiancé Rex Linn, calling him her “husband” during the country legend’s live performance at Today, RadarOnline.com can reveal.
Although McEntire, 70, was a good sport about the mistake, she warned that her fans would have a “conniption” about the idea of her secretly tying the knot. Happy’s place co-star after five years together.
While discussing the second season of the NBC sitcom, Savannah began, “You met your husband there too. So Rex, good old Rex…” as she reached out to awkwardly touch McEntire.

Their engagement was announced at the Emmy Awards in September, McEntire revealed, when a reporter called Linn her “fiancée,” she “didn’t correct her” because it “sounded good to me.”

The couple is in no hurry to go to the altar.
“I was all excited. I asked him, ‘Well, when do you want to do this?’ He said, “Let’s have fun with the engagement season.” So we haven’t set a date or anything like that. We just enjoy each other,” McEntire said.
