Savannah Guthrie Shows Off an Eclectic Christmas Tree in an $11 Million New York Townhouse — and It Even Has a Nod to Taylor Swift

Thanksgiving can be a busy time for the ‘Today’ host (and Macy’s parade host)Savannah Guthriebut she still found time to bring some Christmas cheer to her Brooklyn Heights townhouse when she put up her very colorful tree.

The 53-year-old took over Instagram to show off her magical Christmas tree, which was decorated with colorful lights and fun decorations, including a cheeky nod to pop star Taylor Swift.

She revealed she was more than ready to experience the Christmas spirit, captioning her video: “It’s time,” alongside a Christmas tree emoji.

Her tree featured unique ornaments, including one in the shape of a Doritos bag, another in the shape of a can of caviar and one with the word “Swiftie.”

There were also sentimental trinkets, such as photos of the Guthrie family.

The towering tree was topped with a glittering star and drew attention to her expansive living room, with a bookshelf and high ceiling.

Fans rushed to the comments section to praise the TV presenter for her adorable tree and sentimental ornaments, with one social media user labeling the pine tree as a ‘memory tree’ and another praising it as ‘so beautiful’.

Guthrie’s video also revealed a glimpse into the elegant living room of her sprawling mansion, where she lived with her husband. Michael Veldmanand their children, Valley And Charleysince 2023.

According to records, Feldman and Guthrie paid $11.35 million for their new 4,500-square-foot home with six bedrooms and four bathrooms.

The family moved into the massive home after clearing out their Tribeca apartment because they “had a vision and dream to live in a mansion.”

However, Guthrie won’t have much time to enjoy her home in the coming weeks due to her busy holiday schedule, which begins with the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, which she has co-hosted with her “Today” co-stars for several years.

She will then join her on-screen colleagues at the official Rockefeller Christmas tree lighting on December 3.

The glimpse into Guthrie’s Christmas traditions comes just weeks after she lifted the lid on her upbringing in the Arizona city of Tucson, when she invited the morning show cameras to join her on a tour of her favorite desert spots.

Guthrie, a University of Arizona graduate, introduced fans to her favorite restaurant and her dorm before visiting her mother. Nancywho still lives in the same house where the reporter grew up.

Before the segment aired, Guthrie revealed the significance of her journey – and her desire to highlight the many places in Tucson that helped her become the person she is today.

She hoped locals would see the on-air tour as a moving tribute to their community, she explained Tucson.com.

“It will be a beautiful love letter to Tucson. That is certainly the intention,” she said.

First on that love letter tour? Securing her favorite Mexican food at local eatery Old Pueblo, which she joked is her “No. 1 priority” when she gets home.

In the segment, which was filmed on October 17 and took about eight hours to complete, Guthrie traveled to Tucson and filled her days with various activities, including visiting her mother, which she said was “really cute.”

Guthrie noted that she and the crew had “this incredibly ambitious schedule,” which started in Saguaro National Park and ended at the University of Arizona. They also stopped at the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum.

After filming wrapped, Guthrie stayed back in Arizona to spend time with her family.
