The View’s Sunny Hostin clashes with Marjorie Taylor Greene before the break

The tactic worked because by the time the show returned from break, temperatures had cooled and the women returned to a civil exchange.

Greene even praised the ladies of The view during a discussion about freedom of speech, saying, “I think we’re all doing a great job here of exchanging our ideas and the things we believe in, and we’re doing it in a very professional and friendly way. And I think we need more of that in America. I really do.”

The MAGA roaster added, “A lot of people wanted me to come on the show and say nasty things. They wanted us all to fight.”

Hostin thanked Greene for not going on the offensive when things got tough.

“No, I didn’t want to do that today, because I believe that people with strong voices, like me and you, and especially women towards women, have to pave a new path. This country, our beautiful country, our red-white-blue flag, is just being torn to shreds. And I think it takes women to have the maturity to put it back together,” the Georgian politician stated.
