Spicy details of New York Giants Star Cam Skattebo’s injury revealed

The specific details of the New York Giants running back Cam Skattbo‘s season-ending injury has been revealed.
According to the newspaper, 23-year-old Skattebo suffered an open tibia fracture and a torn deltoid ligament, in addition to a dislocation of the right ankle. ESPN.
The open fracture caused Skattebo’s bone to penetrate the skin, requiring emergency surgery. Skattebo was taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, where he immediately underwent the procedure.

Skattebo will miss the rest of the NFL season but is a league insider Ian Rapoport reported Monday that “he should be back next year without any problems.”
“It is a horrific injury, but the recovery is actually not too bad,” Rapoport writes via X.
Giants head coach Brian Daboll told reporters on Wednesday, October 29, that Skattebo was already back at the teams’ facilities, “driving around” and attending meetings.
“He’s out of the operating room for a few days,” Daboll, 50, added. “He has a road ahead of him to recuperate.”
Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce spoke about Skattebo’s brutal injury on Wednesday’s episode of his “New Heights” podcast.
“Obviously one of the biggest storylines in the NFL is that Skattebo had a pretty aggressive ankle injury,” the 36-year-old Kelce said. “I’m sending him all the love. Hopefully he can come back. The NFL definitely loves a motherfucker like that. Just a tough guy. Hopefully he gets back in great shape.”
The Chiefs tight end added, “I mean, the guy got a standing ovation when he was taken away. Nobody wants to see one of the most beloved players in the league get hurt like that. Obviously, what that guy has been doing with football the last few weeks has been pretty fun to watch. So hopefully he gets healthy again and can get back to running guys over and being the epitome of a goddamn NFL football player.”
