Aerosmith announces his retirement from touring after 54 years

The legendary band told their fans that they always wanted to “stun them during a performance,” but admitted that they were aware that Tyler had been struggling for a while.

The statement continued: “He has worked tirelessly for months to return his voice to its pre-injury position… Unfortunately, it is clear that full recovery from his voice injury is not possible. We have gone through a heartbreaking and difficult period. , but necessary decision – as a brother band – to withdraw from the touring stage.”
