The court also received letters from the mother and children from Combs, all of whom asked for clementia.

Janice Combs wrote: “Unfortunately my son has made a number of terrible mistakes in his life that I know he recognizes. I will never apologize for a misconduct of Sean. I have always been very strict that he grew up.”

The 85-year-old persecuted: “I rely on the friendliness of your heart to allow my son to be able to sit at a dining table with his family. To raise his children and the need to be respectful, to get a course and just get God’s children with love in their hearts.”

She also referred to the children of the rapper, Quincy, 34, King, 27, and twins Jessie and D’lil, 18, who needed a father after their mother, Kim Porter, died in 2018. And even brought her own mortality as a profession.

“I don’t know how long I will be,” she concluded. “But I would like to see him and his children together again.”
