In a statement that was shared on social media, De Rocker confessed: “I love my wife and my children, and I do everything to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness.”

The news threatened to end his 21-year-old marriage to Blum, 49, with insiders at the time that she was “destroyed” and considered a divorce.

“The betrayal almost shattered her,” claimed an insider. “In the beginning, Jordyn wanted to leave, but Dave argued for forgiveness, and eventually she decided to fight for their relationship. She told friends that their family was too important to lose.”

The couple, which married in 2003 after a meeting in a whiskey bar, shares three daughters – Violet, 19, Harper, 16 and Ophelia, 11. Friends claim that the girls were a decisive factor in Blum’s decision to stay.
