Payload launches payment and invoicing tool for buyer agents
Secure payment provider Load capacity is launching a new payment and invoicing tool specifically aimed at buyer agents.
In a release sent Thursday, Payload said it created the solution in response to the terms of the National Association of Real Estate Agents national commission settlement agreement and the potential changes to buyer agent compensation.
Payload expects that, as a result of required buyer representation agreements and the removal of compensation offers from the MLS, some agents will explore different compensation structures, such as an upfront fee applied to the final commission, an hourly rate. Agents using Payload can also pay a la carte fixed-price service fees for market analysis consultations, transaction management and contract negotiations.
Payload said it has designed a tool that allows agents to invoice their buyer clients. The tool offers flexible payment transactions, allowing customers to choose from multiple payment methods, including credit card, mobile wallet or ACH, and itemized invoices.
