During an interview last month, McLean, 47, described the new series as “In contrast to any other show there is.”

The Backstreet Boys singer then spoke about how he felt back to look back on the show since Payne’s death.

He explained: “It was a bit difficult to look at because I hadn’t seen it so far. I just know that the way he is remembered and honored hopefully is done as beautifully when we see it.

“And we have it ok of his family, and I hope that the fans can remember him as he was, which is just a light, a real spirit.

“He wore his heart on his sleeve, he is stupidly talented, funny as hell, had a great sense of humor and was just a pleasure to work with. This is just a great, positive way for the world to remember him.”
