Stand on the earthquake of comedian to develop Fox Sitcom with Bill Burr

Fox is about to be touched with an earthquake.

Variety Has learned that the broadcast network is currently working with the renowned stand-up comic strip (born Nathaniel Stroman) to develop a Sitcom of half an hour based on his life.

FOX has given the Multi-CAM project a script obligation, although no writer is currently attached. Earthquake will play the leading role as itself.

Earthquake will also perform executive products together with his manager, Jermaine Smith. Bill Burr and Mike Bertolina will produce executive via North Hill Productions, where Dave Becky Executive produces for 3 arts entertainment. The show will be produced by Fox Entertainment Studios and distributed by Fox Entertainment Global.

Earthquake has been in the comedy scene for almost 30 years. He has released several comic specials, including ‘Over Got Damm Time’, ‘From the outbuilding to the Whitehouse’, ‘These are not jokes’ and ‘Chappelle’s home team – Earthquake: legendary’. He has also appeared in shows such as Bets “Comic View”, HBO’s “Def comedy jam” and “Shaq’s All-Star Comedy Jam.” As an actor he is known for roles on shows such as “Everyone Hates Chris” “Rel” (also a Fox show), “South Side” and “The Neighborhood.” He is currently organizing “Quake’s House” for Kevin Hart’s Laugh Out Loud Network on Sirius XM Channel 96 while he keeps touring like a stand -up.

Burr and Bertolina founded North Hill in 2024. Their first production was Burr’s Hulu Stand Up Special “Drop Dead Years”. The company also produced the film ‘Old Dads’, which was written, directed by and with Burr. Other projects include “Drugstore June” starring Esther Povitsky and the documentary “Patrice O’Neal: Killing is Easy.”
