Law enforcement in the state of Washington says Travis Decker is probably still alive and did not take his own life while he is fleeing Brian LaundrieBut the path has become cold … and there is no information about an imminent threat to the public.
The Sheriff of Chelan County Mike Morrison TMZ says … they still believe that Decker lives, because there are still tips in relation to possible observations.
We have been told that the tips have not yet been out, but Seriff Morrison is grateful for all citizens who call, as well as all the extra staff of the law enforcement who are still trying to find Decker powerfully while they juggle their tasks with their own areas.
At present, law enforcement has no additional information that suggests that there is a threat to public safety, in particular within the hinterland and remote areas in the region.
Although Decker is not considered a threat, Sheriff Morrison says that Decker is still there and is considered dangerous.
As you know … Decker has been on the lamb for weeks and he has been accused of murder and kidnapping In the death of his three young daughters.
